NEW YORK — In this hoops-loving world where the Gasol brothers live, their incredible combination of size, skill and success is no secret. In their home country of Spain, Pau, 34, and Marc, 30, are basketball royalty. In the NBA, where Marc's Memphis Grizzlies have the league's third-best record and Pau's Chicago Bulls are third in the East, they are the most decorated pair of brothers the league has seen.
But here amid the chaos of All-Star weekend, where they made history by becoming the first brothers to be All-Star starters in the same season and are the first since 1971 (Tom and Dick Van Arsdale) to play together in the game, their talent was put to the test by a most unlikely figure: hip-hop icon will.i.am.
Inside a cramped Sheraton Hotel conference room that was turned into a makeshift ABC television studio, two of the best post players on the planet were asked to hit the dance floor with one of the music industry's most magnetic men. As will.i.am danced and sang his "Awesome " song for an NBA playoff promo, Pau and Marc took turns dribbling a basketball around him while mixing in whatever moves came to mind.

I can say with relatively certainty that you probably won’t remember who won the 2015 NBA All-Star Game years from now (West 163, East 158 for the record). The game did set a few records, most notably the records for most combined points scored and most three-pointers made. But still, these games aren’t the basketball games we find ourselves reminiscing about further on up the road. That being said, there were plenty of great moments at this year’s game along with a few less-than-memorable ones as well.
